We believe that when companies connect their strategy with their brand and engage their employees, they
live their brand. Once this happens, you do not need to attempt to "spin" your brand, it grows because you
are what you profess to be. We believe that companies are wrong when
they say that employees are their most important assets. Employees are cost. Engaged employees are assets--real
intangible assets that can build the brand and the reputation of the company. Without their commitment and engagement,
all of the great brand strategy, PR campaigns and advertising work will go to waste. Brand and Reputation Management to us is a strategic process, not an event or activity. Corporate social
responsibility, crisis management, and philanthropy are tactics. We believe in strategy. We work with companies to identify the key issues facing the company in developing,
enhancing or building its corporate brand. This includes helping the company to determine how it creates value, and
the key attributes that differentiate it from competitors and that resonate with key stakeholders to produce desired business
results. We have developed a unique process called DIFFER that takes companies through a process that connects their
strategy with their brand to enhance reputation. It engages employees, who are the ones who have to live the brand to
make reputation grow.
We work at any and all levels of the company, from the head of marketing and/or communications up through
and including the CEO and board. We have had experience working at all levels to identify the key issues and strategies
that will allow the organization to realize its full value. We
believe that brand and reputation management are too important to be delegated to any one function within the company. However,
someone has to be responsible on a day-to-day basis. We have pioneered the development and creation of Stakeholder Relations
Councils at a number of companies that have helped make brand and reputation management both strategic and integrated throughout
the company.
